How perfect could my first mother' day be with a wake up from my hubby and son. Matt wrote me a beautiful poem and got me two charms for my bracelet, and AJ got me a spa package. What did I do to deserve this! Then, we were off to the airport to pick up my mom. Love you MOM!!!
After a week long visit with my mom, we have come up with her nickname: Gammy Q! How funny is that, I can't wait to hear Alan call her that. We had an amazing time visiting, shopping, and watching her bond with her grandson. Her last night here, she was rocking Alan to sleep and Matt went in the room to see if she was ok and she was crying; sad that she was leaving! She said the CD didn't help matters (Plumb). I miss her already, and wish the rest of my family would come visit. Can't wait until July when we venture north!

Your poor mom! She must have been so torn getting on that plane. She has a week worth of great memories with AJ that she will cherish forever!! I'm sure she's counting the minutes till you go up in July!
