What a Day!

Our day started with a two mile walk at 7am, so peaceful and the weather was perfect. Sometimes I wish it was always that I could just hit the pause button and have it so quiet for a little longer than our walk. Then in for a quick shower, and toast/cereal/banana for breakfast. YUMMY!!! I even was able to snag a couple of bites between Alan's sopping fingers scooping up the banana.

Then, we headed to Aunt Stephy's house for a playdate with Kelly/Lily, and Kelle/Lainey. These days are so much needed and very therapeutic! It's great that our kids are at different stages of their lives and it's so much fun talking baby talk ( and throwing in a little adult humor too)! I seroiusly have the most amazing girlfriends in the whole wide world. I've finally found a group of friends that I have a lot in common with and love me for who I really am.

When I stopped by home to drop AJ off, so I could run to the post office, Matt hands me a piece of paper/pen and tells me to choose one from each category: Seriously? Didn't know what was going on, but went with it. When I got home, he was cooking exactly what I chose from the menu and he also had a card for me telling me how wonderful of a mother I am and that I have so much courage and strength, and that I'm stronger that I can ever imagine and I am never alone. That is just what the card said, what he wrote was even more special. I won't go into detail, but...."You're an inspiration..." are the words that got me!
Once I ate (wolfed down) my meal, and after we put little peanut down for the night, it was time for Photoshop 101. I've only made it through one chapter of Photoshop for Dummies and was still confused, so Matt sat down with me and I made my first picture. Yes, it took 30 minutes, but I love it!

Every day is definitely something new!

Ok... so is Matt giving lessons?? :) Don't worry, AJ will be a perfect pooper before you know it. Maybe he and Paige should hang out in their matching shirt / dress outfits and she can teach him how to do the deed... she is definately advanced fluent! :)
