It's Been One Week....

...since we arrived in MI, and Alan jumped down from my arms when he saw Gammy Q to run to her in the airport.
...since I came down with strep throat (all better now).
...Alan found his new BFF ("Dampa": my dad)
...Alan has learned how to spell "NO" and say NOPE
...Alan has started learning how to count to 10, thanks to cousin Trenton
...first three word phrase "Mama-come-door"

We are off of schedules, confused with weather and the days staying lighter longer, but loving every minute of our time in Michigan with family. It's funny how I always worry about throwing Alan off of schedule and he always amazes me with adjusting and doing just fine. Kids really do get you to chill out and enjoy the simplest things in life.

Tomorrow daddy arrives, and we are so excited.

Look what finally arrived; Everyday is Something New-Volume I

Happy 4th Birthday, Trenton!
We love our little stone cabin that has been in the family for at least 75 years.
Great Grandpa and his great grandsons.

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa!Cuddling with mommy to get warm.
This pic is for those that do not believe Alan throws fits...we were at my cousin's open house.
Looking for toads!
The boys got Gammy (Alan calls her gabby) up in the play yard.
Alan is loving the sandbox that we'll probably never own in FL due to the red ants.

Your parents place is beautiful. I'm glad you are able to spend time with family. Alan looks like he is in his element.

I love that last picture of him in the little brown outfit! Having your baby with your family when you don't see them very much is just magical. So glad you are enjoying it, but come home now, wouldya? Can't wait to see your strawberry pickin' pictures...did you go? Miss you! He looks so big. When did it happen?! xoxo
