Yes, I still rock Alan and sleep with him more so now then ever before (how can I resist those big blue eyes saying, "STAY"). Yes, am I going against every piece of advice written by doctors and given by friends. Yes, I am being selfish. You know what...I don't care. I have a little boy that loves his mommy and I love him more and more every day. He is only little ONCE, and what if we don't have another child...I'm enjoying our little peanut every step of the way....because I'm trusting myself and doing what I want to do!
And once Alan falls asleep, I am able to work on my to do list: having fun, relaxing,catching up on Alan's 2nd year scrapbook pages, keeping the house clean ;0), organizing the picture cards we have received into an album, and this (FINALLY)!

I like them both a lot hard to pick but I would say number 1. I love the big picture of his bottom:) I love babies bottoms. So I say one. And you rock him and sleep with him and do what you want:) You are a wonderful mommy. I love having our daily playdates. Alan and Skye they are going to have no choice they have to fall in love:)
love them both...but if i had to choose...i would say #1. also...AMEN SISTER!!!! you do what you want. seriously though...they are only this age for a short time and how many people's lives have been runined by cuddling with mommy when they were babies...NONE!!!

y'aint goin' 'gainst my advice because i could lobby on the white house steps for rocking and cuddling and physical touch as much as possible...this comin' from a family bed fanatic. you always aim for balance in mamahood, but erring on the side of holding them too much is always better than holding them not enough...'cuz you can't go back.
advice shmadvice. every mama's instinct is different...and yours is what works for your baby. rock it out, baby.

Gotta include the bum!! I don't know who says not to rock your child to sleep! There's nothing like it! YUMMY!
#1 but change out the triple chin picture with the mouth partially open picture. Alan told me so.
Enjoy your little boy! You are right they are only young once. I like number 1, but both are great.
