Well it's been exactly one full week that I have been on full time mommy duty, and boy do I feel like a newbie....trying to get new routines down, new foods, etc. The other night Alan and I were both so tired and sad and crying and he looked and me and gave me a big smooch on the lips....I lost it even harder. How did I get so lucky to have a little boy in tune with mommy's feelings.
Yes, we are reading even more... Alan LOVES the book Where is Baby's Belly Button? so much that I went out and bought 4 more just like it. He waits until we read the page and lifts the flaps. And LADIES AND GENTS....we have a cruiser. He's been cruising for a while, but Matt counted 7 FULL seconds that he stood by himself with nothing to hold on to before he realized what was going on. One more milestone....He waved "HI" yesterday.
I am so glad to be home with my little peanut watching him grow and develop every second of the day.
