As we ring in 2009, I was not only excited for what the year had planned for me, but also for the change that we are all hoping will come with the inauguration of President Barack Obama. For the first time, I was so excited to watch our president take his oath. As Samantha and I watched with our students, I felt a mix of OMG as we watched history being made, as well as nervousness for what was going to happen to our nation. I watched and couldn't help but feel for our new leader as he has major expectations on him. Whether we voted for him or not....we need his help, something has to change. And like many Americans....this change cannot come soon enough. And thank you to the artists that sang this song and produced this video as it gives us the hope we have all been longing for...
