My Favorites!

Well it's been almost two weeks that we've been home, and our schedule still seems a bit screwed up; or we've run into the terrible twos early. I love Alan to pieces, but I honestly wish he would forget the words "NO" and "STOP." I know this is part of growing, but you (at least) I start questioning what could I be doing better. Matt and I are the best parents we can be, I know that, he knows that....but is there more. Isn't this the question all parents ask themselves.

Despite being back home, back in our own beds, in our somewhat "routines" the following pictures are burned in my head from our vacation.
I love these pictures of my mom's side of the family singing a made up song to my dad for a Congratulations on his retirement from GM: 31 years.
I love my little boy!
Grandma and Grandpa Cole, Aunt Billie, and Claire.
It's hard to be so far away from family, but it makes us all a little stronger.

you are a good mama! and if they didn't say "no" and "stop" and all those other brilliant manifestations of independence, i'd wonder. this is totally inappropriate, but where else are they going to learn "'no' to drugs" and "'stop' taking my pants off." you see...you want them to say 'no' and 'stop'.

funny-ha-ha aside...your family pictures are beautiful, but glad you are home, you good mama, you! xoxo

Alan is such a lucky boy to have a mama to teach him at an early age right from wrong. I love the family pictures.
