Baby Steps!

So I've realized that I cannot hide the inevitable...I have to back to work and it will be herebefore I know it. I had training this week ( 4 days of 9 hour training), and even though I woke up kicking and screaming the entire way there I realized that the mini-steps to going back are helping me face the facts. It has been an amazing summer and we do still have two weeks left. I do still dream of the days when I don't have to work and can stay home all day with my little peanut; I can always dream, can't I?

Here is Alan in his big boy pullups! He is so proud!I may not be the cook in the family, but I can be cute with what I can make!
Alan says cheese anytime the camera comes out, whether it's me taking the picture or not. When he sees someone else taking a picture, he will go up to them and say "cheese," it cracks me up!
Not really doing well with staying in his own bed at night. It takes us an hour of back and forth taking him back to bed and this is where he usually falls asleep. And after putting him back to bed, we still find him in our bed in the middle of the night pushing both of us out.

The imagination of children blows me away!

Alan's first cardboard vehicle that I made!

First boat ride and he LOVED it!

Going back to work sucks...no way around it. I'm just trying to hold tight to those memories that I pack in over the summer break!

Going back to school is coming around the corner. Making the best of it like you are doing is what will make it easier. I love his car!
